Built Cane Trout Fly Rods - The Avon Split
Cane Fly Rod range have been very much in
the past a traditionalist's range. We
have made a slight alteration to the
design by making the cane slightly
lighter and not so heavily tempered as |

| that had
generated a great deal of tip section breakages.
The actions and tapers are still the same
production specifications used by the original
makers Sharpes of Aberdeen who ceased production
in the late seventies and early eighties. We do
provide a rod repair service for all built cane
rod models, and have a vast library of makers
